BArtS Newsletter – February Update
Crikey, it’s halfway through February already, can you believe it? Hopefully, you are settling into the year, considering your goals and finding your rhythm. At BArtS we are starting the year slowly and deliberately to consolidate and plan for a lot of action in Term Two. We’ll be putting workshops and classes up on the website as these get locked in, so check check for updates. Meanwhile, here’s what’s recently happened and what’s coming up at BArtS to assist you to live your best creative life.
Workshops & Studio News
We recently held two very successful drawing workshops with our new tutor Alex Snellgrove. We’re thrilled to have Alex on board — she will also be teaching a new term class on Friday afternoons from 2–5pm.
Lisa Forrest returned this summer for another hugely popular lino print workshop. New printmakers can continue building their skills at our Friday Morning Studio Group (10am–12pm).
Meanwhile, in the Clay Shed, Jo Chipperfield, Lori Flesker and Jen Hardwick led the installation of our new tiled splashback, made up of over 200 hand-made and decorated tiles created by members of the clay studio group. It’s a true community artwork and looks incredible.
