Jennie Deane is a watercolour painter, illustrator and experimental artist based in the Blue Mountains, whose work is ingrained with the natural beauty of her environment.

Drawing inspiration from her beautiful surroundings and quiet moments found in the Australian landscape, her recent work explores lookouts and landscapes as well as the tiny things along the way.

In her self published book, LOOKOUT, Jennie experiments with a wide range of mediums to capture the shifting moods and textures of the ever changing landscape.

Alongside her studio practice spanning over 30 years, Jennie is a dedicated teacher, sharing her passion through classes and workshops designed to share her knowledge and inspire others to begin or deepen their own creative journeys.
