ARTIST'S STATEMENT

I was brought up in the Adelaide Hills and moved to Sydney in my youth. I currently live between McMahon's Point and the mountains. I feel at peace in Blackheath where I am most at home. I have always felt the need to create either be it painting, carving, in sculpture or mosaic. I love gardening and I love art. My greatest inspiration is colour. My work tends to be quite bold and bright, abstract but not messy, contemporary but not boring; pure colour at its best, side by side. All colours of the spectrum.
